Face Shape respects your privacy. Some features in the app require cloud-based AI processing to generate results.
Information We Collect
Photos or images you capture or select for AI features.
Text prompts or edit instructions you submit, when applicable.
Generated output images created for your request.
Technical data needed to process requests, such as request metadata, app/device version, error diagnostics, and basic logs.
Analytics and crash data from integrated services, where enabled.
How We Collect Information
Directly from you when you upload, capture, or submit images and prompts.
Automatically from app and service events used for diagnostics, analytics, fraud prevention, and reliability.
How We Use Information
To provide hairstyle preview, face swap, and AI-generated image results.
To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve app performance and reliability.
To detect abuse, fraud, or misuse of the service.
To comply with legal obligations when required.
Third-Party AI Processing
For certain AI features, user-submitted photos/images and related prompts are sent to Replicate, Inc. ("Replicate"), which we use as a third-party AI processing provider. Through Replicate infrastructure, processing may include models used for face swap and Nano Banana style image processing or generation.
Data sent for these AI requests may include:
Input image or photo.
Cropped or processed image regions needed for the requested feature.
Prompt text or edit instructions.
Technical parameters required to generate the requested output.
We send this data only to process and return the AI result you requested.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers and processors that help us operate the app and its features, including Replicate for AI processing and other providers for billing, analytics, crash reporting, and advertising where applicable. These providers are expected to apply privacy and security protections comparable to those described in this policy.
Data Retention
AI inputs and generated outputs may be temporarily stored to process requests and deliver results.
Images submitted for AI processing are deleted within 1 hour on the server side, including when processing runs through Replicate infrastructure.
Generated outputs may also be temporarily stored for delivery and service operations, depending on feature workflow.
Limited logs and diagnostic records may be retained longer when needed for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, or legal compliance.
User Choices and Consent
You choose whether to use AI-based features. If you do not want your image or prompt sent to a third-party AI processor, do not use those features. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact us at the email below.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.
